Ann Peru Knabe, APR+M, Ph.D., and Kathleen Donahue Rennie, APR, Ph.D., will explain how the three letters “APR” sets you apart from your peers, and the key steps to earning the credential. Tom Fuller, APR, will share his recent experience earning his APR, with tips to jump start your own Accreditation journey as a public information officer, public affairs specialist, or public relations professional.
Ann Peru Knabe, APR, PhD, is chair of the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB), the governing body for Accreditation. A colonel in the Air Force Reserve with 25 years experience in public affairs, Ann is a member of both NAGC and PRSA.
Kathleen Donahue Rennie, APR, PhD, also serves on the UAB, bringing the unique combination of a full-time public relations consultant and a full-time educator at New Jersey City University, where she teaches marketing and executive communications.
Tom Fuller, APR, serves as NAGC’s Professional Development Director. The recently accredited professional works full time as a Communications Manager for the Oregon Department of Transportation.
