Membership is open to anyone performing communications duties within a government entity, whether they are a public information officer, speechwriter, web master, social media expert or any other role that advances the message of the agency or organization for which they work.
NAGC is dedicated to providing world-class training opportunities for members and non-members alike at its annual Communication School, held every June. NAGC also seeks to recognize excellent in communications through its Blue Pencil & Gold Screen Awards, handing out prizes in forty categories. We also identify a Communicator of the Year at the annual school; a person who epitomizes excellence in communications.
